Regardless of the fact that hyaluronic acid fillers are very safe and provide natural and temporary results, there are situations where patients want to correct their effects before the natural resorption of the product. And fortunately, we have hyaluronidase to make these corrections.

It is an enzyme that produces a rupture of the infiltrated hyaluronic acid molecules and this, in turn, facilitates the rapid reabsorption of the product. This treatment is so effective that a decrease in inflammation can be seen during the procedure itself, although the definitive effect is assessed a few days after the application. The truth is that the effectiveness varies according to the type and density of hyaluronic acid and that in some cases an additional application of hyaluronidase may be necessary in future sessions.
